One of the best ways to give a twist to the look of your kitchen is through the way you decorate your kitchen floor. There are plenty of options when it comes to choosing what your kitchen floor will be made of, all of which can provide a different sort of mood or atmosphere to your kitchen.
But remember that with different material come different characteristics. And it is because of this that there is no one set way to clean your kitchen floor! Here are just a few ways to clean the common types of kitchen flooring.
If your kitchen floor is made of vinyl or ceramic tile, then you’re in luck. These are probably the easiest to clean! The first thing you should do is to sweep it. Then, with a solution of dishwashing liquid and warm water, mop your tiles clean and let it dry on its own.
If your floor is made of laminate wood, simply mix 1 cup of white vinegar into a gallon of water and use this solution when mopping your floor. After which, you must rinse it off with warm water.
Finally, if your floor is made of hardwood, you will need a special cleaner made for this kind of wood. Just sweep your floor clean, follow the instruction specified on the product, let it air dry and your floor should be as good as new!
